Elderly Client CPD Course Overview
Elderly Client Law aims to enforce the same legal rights for elderly people as are enjoyed by the rest of society but often unenforced due to a disability preventing them from receiving proper and rightful treatment. Elderly Client Law is intended to help protect the elderly from all forms of exploitation, abuse and neglect. It empowers those who may have lost the ability to make decisions due to impairments in physical or mental functioning.
Lawyers advising and/or acting on behalf of the elderly and their rights need to keep their case law knowledge up to date whilst fulfilling their yearly CPD training requirements.
