Family Law CPD - Course Overview
Family Law encompasses all legal issues relating to families and includes matters relating to:
• child custody
• child support
• paternity, and
• protection from abuse
Family Law practitioners often face the additional challenges that relate to either party being counter-productive to their own efforts due to allowing emotions to affect their judgement and the practitioner’s ability to perform their duties effectively.
Family Law practitioners need to be skilful in their approach and advice techniques to overcome potential emotional barriers as well as knowledgeable in the relevant areas of law with regards to what is legally enforceable by either party.
CPD training in Family Law is crucial to the continuing development of family practitioners and a number of CPD accredited Family Law CPD courses have been selected below to demonstrate the range of courses available.
